This January will be my third year as an author. It's been a trippy and wild ride so far. Very much so.

I didn't think i'd be kicking off 2019 writing 3 books at the same time, that's for sure. Two of them are already at the 50% mark, the third only a bit behind that.

With all that said and done, time to push and grow. We're going to keep branching out into more genres, and more things to write. Because apparently i'm a genre blob.

With that said, that's it! Nothing else to update you with.

Though for those of you who read to the end, be sure to be around for the anniversary post on the day I launched Otherlife Dreams. I'll be making the Omnibus only chapters available online. Just like I do every year. :D

Dec 2018 - Cultivating Chaos

Alright folks. Cultivating Chaos is apparently live already in the eastern united states, and is heading west. This is a Kindle Unlimited book, of course. I do love KU.
This book is officially... a go. Spread the word, spread the link, tell every group, push it to every platform. Let's show everyone a western Wuxia with an ACTUAL Harem. Post it everywhere, and leave your honest reviews. Lol. With that being said, it's probably time for some more details now about "VeilVerse". Blaise and I have been pretty mum about the whole thing. So... what is "VeilVerse". VeilVerse is a shared universe. The two books in it, Asgard Awakening, and Cultivating Chaos, are not "Book 1 and Book 2". They're separate stories occurring at the same time, in the same universe. This project was made in such a way, that it can have as many authors as Blaise and I invite in to write, or as few as we wish to allow. Super Sales on Super Heroes 3 - Out Now (November)

This isn't the end of Felix, Vince, or the Overgod.
There's much left of the story to tell. And for all you know, it's already being told. :)

October 2018 - Spooky scary things and skeleton wars

Whelp, SSOSH3 is done. It's with the beta readers, and heading to the editor in two weeks or so.

After this, it's likely we'll move to Fostering Faust 2, and Dungeon Deposed 2.

There's also a book that's already done that'll be released in December. It's called "Cultivating Chaos". Should be interesting to see what you all think of it.

Other than that, same as ever.

And because it came up again, here's an earlier "How to support me" post.

"Recently I've had a few people ask me how they can support me.

So, here's a few ways you can do that. Without further ado:

1: If you're looking to help me without spending a dollar, and you feel like wasting 5-10 minutes, going and leaving some reviews on the books you've read would be great. I can't deny i'd be pleased as punch if you left glowing 5 star reviews, but i'd ask you to be honest in your reviews.
Reviews are essential.

2: If you have $1-$10 to drop, and you want to read the books earlier, at least up to the 70% mark, hop on over to the Patreon page. (https://www.patreon.com/WilliamDArand)
I do my best to respond to all questions on the patron posts as well. It's also how you become eligible for beta reading positions.

3: Spread the word! I cannot stress this enough but when you link my books to groups that might not have seen it, you do me a great favor. Half the fight is getting even the possibility of someone looking at a book.

Happy Fourth of July!

First, no real updates on anything. Working on a new book that isn't being talked about too much. :)

After that, we'll be moving to Super Sales 3.

Now, I don't do this too often, but it's time for me to say thanks. To those who have helped me become who I am.

April 2018: Gotta go fast

Hey everyone.

So as some of you have noticed, and even commented on, we're moving along quick quick as could be now.

Right now I seemingly can finish a book in 40-42 days. Since it takes 2-3 weeks to get it edited, covered, and put on amazon, that means we'll practically be halfway done with the next book by the time the other releases.

This is good news I think, though I'll need to balance my "burn out" meter a bit more closely.

Broker, now called Fostering Faust, is finishing up it's second pass and going to the editor soon. 

Wild Wastes 3 is already nearing 33%, so you'll start seeing a lot more chapters popping up on Patreon. Super Sales 2 Audiobook is still May 8th.

March 2018: Dungeon Deposed released, and where are we?

This is the big one. If this book does well, it'll justify going full time. Making being an author an actual job, and not working the dayjob.

Where are we otherwise? We're already 50% of the way through a new Darren novel! After that, i'm not sure where we're going.

On the books is still Wild Wastes 3 this year, as is Super Sales on Super Heroes 3.

Haven't heard any news on Super Sales on Super Sales 2 Audibook, other than Nick Podehl posted on his facebook that he's working on it.

Feb 2018: Update

February! A time of... February. We've finished Dungeon Deposed. It'll be going out to all the beta readers by the end of this week. After that, it's a trip down to the editor and up for sale March 1st. Super Sales on Super Heroes 2 audiobook is in production by Nick Podehl. No other updates at this time. No idea on the narrator yet for Dungeon Deposed, either. I'm going to put it up to ACX and hold an audition call. We shall see. :) Next book after this, a new genre, new type, new direction. I can't say much yet because i'm not doing this alone. Blaise Corvin is involved. Not much to update beyond that. More art by Amelia Parris? More art by Amelia Parris.

January: 2018 Onward!

Alright.

So, 2017 was a pretty great year.

Time to start up a new one I guess.

Super Sales 3 should be in December of this year. This is a fairly rough estimation, but it seems pretty doable right now.

Wild Wastes 3 will be 3 months before that.

Right now, we're working on Dungeon Deposed. That should be done by February.

Super sales 2 audiobook is progressing. No ETA though yet. Sorry folks.

Things are going well with Patreon.
