January-2021

 Heyo! Mid month news post:

First, Patreon is rolling along. We're working through Right of Retribution 2 and Monster's Mercy 3 right now.

Second, The Swing Shift Omnibus should go up in a day or two. I'll update with a new post when it does.

Third, I hope to have RoR2 ready for February, but it might not happen. I'm not willing to rush a book just to get it to market. If it takes longer, it takes longer. Sorry, not sorry.

I won't compromise on my own personal belief in a books quality just to get it out sooner.

I release every book as soon as possible, so long as I'm happy with the result of the writing.

I know that's bad news and I'm sorry for it. Just how I am.

Other than that, be safe out there folks.

  1. Don't know about other folks, but I'm more than happy to accept a delay due to quality. As long as you're not GOTting us for a decade, all delays make sense! :)

  2. I would rather you wait to publish if the book isn't ready. I have read so many LitRPG books that could have used much better editing. Reading those books is fun but having to pick through the editing errors detracts from the book. One reason I love your stuff is because there aren't spelling, grammar, or contextual holes that are readily noticeable to me. Thank you for your good work! I pray you and your family continue to be well during this time and you continue to write. God bless!

  3. As someone who made the 'mistake' of reading a bunch of authors who write books very quickly of decent enough quality, let me just say that book by book I am appreciating your works more and more, so please keep taking your time as eager as we might be to see your next book :D . And let me also say that it's much appreciated that unlike some authors you are willing to give some indication of what you're working on and when it *might* be ready.

  6. Just found your books not long ago. Really like Super Sales on Super Heroes. Was wondering if book four was in the works. The epilogue for it was good and left on a cliffhanger/ need more info.
Would love to know more about Runners lost wife. Also how Kit and lily are holding up on Zeus's plane of existence/world(not sure how you have it).

  7. No worries, man! I know I'd rather wait for a good book than read a rushed pile of warm garbage... looking forward to it, still!

  9. I like the way you think about your work, and I got nowhere to go so if it takes a little longer so be it. By the way are you thinking about continuing on the Frosting series. You noted previously that you were planning to continue the story with 3 additional books.

  10. Love your books. Quick question though. I noticed in the selfless hero omnibus book there was a chapter only for the omnibus. Is this the case for all your omnibus books?

  11. There are very few authors out there that can tackle multiple storylines and keep it all coherent. The amount of backchecking to make the stories flow is just insane.
Robert Jordan is one...Brandon Sanderson is another.
I admit I have been checking every day to see if the next book is out. I am not sad that it is not out yet. I am glad that WDA takes the time to make the book as perfect as he can.
