So!
Super Sales has come and gone.
It's now a paperback book, and going to be an audiobook by the end of this month.
With that being said, I'm already writing book 2.
I think I'll try my hand at a different story after that before deciding on a book 3.
A different story like a selfless hero sequel??
ReplyDeleteMaybe. Or something entirely different. :)
DeleteOkey dokey. I'm sure if the main character is in the style of your other work I'll love it anyway.
DeleteThanks for being great.
Just wanted to say I picked up the the kindle version of "Super Sales of Superheroes" on a whim, really, because the Amazon Kindle store included it in a "recommended for you" list. Literally kept me up all night until my battery died at 5 AM (Just as they were about to "storm the castle", as it were, too! So frustrating!) Went to bed and finished it off after I woke up, with a full battery, at 10 AM. So glad to learn you are working on a sequel - so many unanswered questions!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the kind words Jenni!
DeleteYep, definitely working on the sequel. I have a pretty solid direction on where it needs to go, and how to keep the "power level" in check.
Love your work, have literally read and re-read Super Sales on Super Heroes like 9 times in the last month, excellent literary universe and I have to say it was a wonderful read. Fix it Felix if he had "super"reality to deal with. Excellent!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the kind words. Hopefully the sequel will be just as good. :)
DeleteI just finished my first read through of Super Sales, and I'm freakin hooked.
ReplyDeleteThe characters are engaging and the story completely sucked me in.
I can't wait for the continued misadventures of Legion. Thank you for the fun read!
Many thanks for the kind words. :)
DeleteMy apologies for the late response, I've been working studiously on writing the sequel.
Really enjoyed Super Sales, mostly because the characters where just really fun! Andrea was my personal favorite, because who doesn't like Pancakes?! Also, it's hard to come up with an original super power anymore, and you actually did it, so kudos to you on that one!
ReplyDeleteThanks! It was something I came up with when I was bored at work one day and playing a flash game.
DeleteSuper Sales was Super Fun to read. I am about to start my 2nd reading and i can't wait to see what i missed in my first read through. What a great spin on super heros. I appreciate your imagination.
ReplyDeleteI only wish you would have identified who was talking a little more often. It might be my lack of comprehension, or it might just be annoying to write " Kit said... or Lily said... " so many times. But whatever the case may be, i cannot wait till book 2. I am a fan.
Not sure why my comment loaded twice. But i just bought OtherLife Omnibus. Looking forward to reading them
DeleteNo worries, I cleaned up the duplicates :) Darn you and your Andrea posts. Keep them in your head.
DeleteAs to why I didn't put "said" as often, is because it goes both ways. I get critiqued for it being used too often, and not enough.
I promise I tried to use my judgement to get it clear for the most part.
I hope you enjoy Otherlife, it was my rookie attempt.
As was previously mentioned. Excellent twist on a Super Heroes universe. I really want to see this as a movie already do I can see how you are visualizing all of the powers being used. I can hardly wait for the follow up but in the meantime I'll definitely be reading your other Kindle stories until then.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear it.
DeleteAs to a movie deal... I have no idea? I wouldn't even know how that sort of thing happens.
Thanks for the kind words however! I appreciate them.
Love your work, have literally read and re-read Super Sales on Super Heroes like 9 times in the last month, excellent literary universe and I have to say it was a wonderful read. Fix it Felix if he had "super"reality to deal with. Excellent!
ReplyDeletegoldenslot
Lol. You're reading it too much!
DeleteI'm glad you enjoyed it though. Hopefully I can write a worthwhile sequel for you.
Just wanted to let you know that Super Sales on Super Heroes is a great book, which I have added to my highly recommended list. The only other books on that list are the Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson, Super Powereds by Drew Hayes, and The Kingkiller Chronicle King by Patrick Rothfuss. It was such a satisfying read, and I hope the second one turns out to be just as good as the first.
ReplyDeleteWell thanks Donald! I really appreciate the kind words.
DeleteAs to the second book, I hope so, too.
Love the books got them all on multiple platforms but I have a question did otherlife awakinings ever go to paper back I can't seem to find it
ReplyDeleteIt has a paperback, it just took a while. ;)
DeleteReally enjoyed this book. It had all the elements that I was looking for and compelled me to give it a second read. I really enjoyed your other series as well. Somehow managed to finish it all in a day. Marvelous stuff. Please continue the hard work and I think many of us anticipate your next book.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear it man.
DeleteI'll keep writing. :)
Audio book still going to make it out inJune?
ReplyDeleteUgh, it took longer. There was a few delays.
DeleteReally enjoying the audiobook, this is the first of your books I have read and I am looking forward to the sequel. I hope it's a true sequel to the first book allot of unanswered questions. Someone mentioned another book in the same universe and I think that would be great, after....
ReplyDeleteYep, a true sequel.
DeleteAs for it being the same universe... I've only written one other series.
Otherlife.
Hey William,
ReplyDeleteFinished Super Sales audiobook today. Really enjoyed it and loved the different take on a superpower. I enjoyed Felix's mixed morals approach and corporate take on how to get things done.
Lots of unanswered questions of course so am awaiting the next book.
Well done.
Paul.
